Remove yourself from TruePeopleSearch.net
Estimated time: 5 minutes. Difficulty: easy.
Steps
- This is the .net site — a lookalike of TruePeopleSearch.com with its own database and its own removal process. Opting out of the .com does nothing here (see our TruePeopleSearch.com guide for that one).
- Search truepeoplesearch.net for your name, or browse the People Directory, and open your record. Copy the URL from the address bar.
- Open the TruePeopleSearch.net removal form — it is a Google Form, linked from the site's "Remove My Info" page.
- Fill in first name, last name, your email and paste the record URL. The message box is optional. Tick "I acknowledge that my information will be removed within two business days" and click Submit. No email confirmation, phone, CAPTCHA or ID.
- Have more than one report? The site says to "submit a separate request for each report you want removed" — do one form per URL.
- The site says records go "shortly after" the request, "up to 48 hours". Re-search after two days to confirm.
TruePeopleSearch.net warns your name "may continue to appear as a possible relative or associate in other individuals' reports", and it does not remove sex-offender data. A Google Form gives you no receipt, so screenshot your submission. Re-check every few months.
