The service

OptOut.app helps you remove personal information from data-broker websites via DIY guides (free) and, for paid plans, automated removal-request submission and monitoring. Paid features are not yet generally available; they will be announced when ready.

Account

You're responsible for keeping your generated password and recovery code safe. Because we never send email, we cannot recover your account for you if both are lost.

Acceptable use

You may only submit opt-out requests for yourself or someone who has explicitly authorized you. Do not use the service to harass, impersonate, or submit requests on behalf of people who have not given permission.

Payments & refunds

Paid plans are billed as described at purchase. We'll publish a refund policy when paid plans launch. Until then, this section is a placeholder.

Limitation of liability

We make best-effort removal requests on your behalf. Data brokers comply on their own schedule; we do not guarantee any specific outcome or timeframe. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
