Remove yourself from Quick People Trace

Estimated time: 10 minutes. Difficulty: easy.

Steps

  1. Quick People Trace has no opt-out form of its own. It is run by QuickLocate LLC, the operator of USATrace, and USATrace's privacy page states its profile block applies to QuickPeopleTrace.com as well. So open the USATrace "Your Privacy" page and scroll to Opt Out.
  2. Use the search box on that page to find yourself, pass the human check, and click the block button next to each result that is you. Repeat per listing. No email, phone or ID is required.
  3. Allow up to 48 hours, then search quickpeopletrace.com to confirm.
  4. Belt and braces: Quick People Trace has historically pulled records from PeopleFinders, which is where the listed opt-out link goes. If you have not already, do the PeopleFinders opt-out too — it is a separate email-verified form.
  5. Re-check both sites after a week.
Two things can list you here: QuickLocate's own index (blocked via USATrace) and the PeopleFinders feed (removed via PeopleFinders). Do both if you want it gone. A block is not a deletion, so a fresh data import can bring you back — re-check every few months.
