Remove yourself from PeopleFinders

Estimated time: 10 minutes. Difficulty: easy.

Steps

  1. Open the PeopleFinders opt-out page.
  2. Enter your full name and a working email, make sure "the subject of the request" is selected, tick the box agreeing to opt-out emails, complete the CAPTCHA and click "Send request".
  3. Open the email from PeopleFinders and click through to the removal form. The link expires after 24 hours.
  4. Search for yourself (name, city, state), find your listing and select it. Fill in the rest of the form to match the record.
  5. Submit. No phone number or ID needed.
  6. PeopleFinders quotes up to 9 days, but most removals land in 3–7. Search peoplefinders.com again after a week to confirm.
This suppresses your listing from the site — it does not delete you from the PeopleFinders database. If you have several listings (old addresses, name variations), opt each one out separately. Re-check every few months.
