Remove yourself from USPhoneBook

Estimated time: 5–10 minutes. Difficulty: easy.

Steps

  1. Open the USPhoneBook opt-out page (it is also the "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link in their footer).
  2. Select "The subject of the request", enter your name and email, tick the authorization box, solve the CAPTCHA and click "Begin Removal Request".
  3. Open the email from USPhoneBook and click "Click here to fill out the record removal form". The link expires after 24 hours.
  4. Fill in the form with your details as they appear on the listing — name, address, phone — so they can match the record.
  5. Submit. You get an on-screen confirmation and a confirmation email. No ID needed.
  6. USPhoneBook removes confirmed listings within 72 hours. Search usphonebook.com for your name and number after that to confirm.
