Remove yourself from USA People Search

Estimated time: 10 minutes. Difficulty: easy.

Steps

  1. Open the USA People Search removal page. (Older guides send you to /manage — that flow is gone; this is the current one.)
  2. Choose "The subject of this request", enter your first and last name (middle optional) and an email you can open right now. Solve the CAPTCHA and submit.
  3. Check your inbox and spam. USA People Search emails a link to the actual opt-out form. The link expires after 24 hours; miss it and you request a new one.
  4. Click the link and fill in the form to match your listing exactly. If you are shown search results, find your record, click "View Details", then "Remove Record".
  5. You land on a confirmation page and get a confirmation email. No phone number or ID needed.
  6. The site asks for 3 days. Clear your cache and search usa-people-search.com for yourself after that to confirm.
Same removal system as TruePeopleSearch and PeopleSearchNow, but each site needs its own request, and each listing (old address, maiden name) needs its own request. USA People Search says it cannot guarantee that newly received records get matched to an old opt-out, so re-check every few months. Not the same site as PeopleSearchUSA.org.
