Remove yourself from UnitedStatesPhoneBook

Estimated time: 2 minutes. Difficulty: easy.

Steps

  1. Go to unitedstatesphonebook.com and search by surname and state, or by phone number.
  2. Every result shows name, address and phone with a small "Remove Listing" button on the right. Click the one that is you.
  3. Confirm the "Are you sure you want to remove this number?" pop-up. No email, CAPTCHA, phone or ID is asked for.
  4. Repeat for each listing that belongs to you — old addresses and numbers are separate entries.
  5. The site says removals happen automatically within 24–48 hours. The contact page only repeats the instructions; the old phone-number-and-zip form is gone.
  6. Search again in two days to confirm.
UnitedStatesPhoneBook and AmericaPhoneBook are the same one-man operation with the same data and the same Remove button — but each site needs its own click. The page says "DO NOT EMAIL FOR REMOVALS, PLEASE USE THE REMOVE BUTTON", and it means it. New phone-book data gets loaded now and then, so search again in a month or two.
