Remove yourself from Sync.me
Estimated time: 2 minutes. Difficulty: easy.
Steps
- Open the Sync.me opt-out form.
- Enter your name, an email address, and your phone number with the country-code selector set correctly (+1 for the US).
- Tick the "I'm not a robot" reCAPTCHA and click Send.
- Watch the inbox you gave: Sync.me may send a confirmation link or code — click or enter it if it arrives. No phone call or ID is required.
- Repeat for each number you want unlisted.
- Wait 24–72 hours, then search the number in the Sync.me app or website to confirm it no longer resolves to your name.
Sync.me is a caller-ID app, so its database is built from users' uploaded address books — the only thing you can remove is the phone number. They promise removal within 24 hours; guides see 1–3 days. Your number can be re-uploaded by anyone who has you in their contacts, so check again in a few months. Their support article points at sync.me/unsubscribe/ — it is the same form.
