Remove yourself from Superpages

Estimated time: 10–15 minutes. Difficulty: medium.

Steps

  1. Search superpages.com for your name and note the URL of any personal listing (business listings have a "Claim this listing" route instead).
  2. Open the Thryv privacy request form — the "verifiable consumer request" form named in Thryv's privacy policy, which covers Superpages, Yellowpages.com and DexKnows.
  3. Choose the request type for deletion (and "do not sell/share" if offered), fill in your name, email and the details of the listing, and submit.
  4. Check your inbox: the form emails a verification link you must click before the request is processed. Answer any follow-up asking you to confirm identity.
  5. Prefer the phone? Thryv's privacy line is 1-844-998-4798. For a people-search listing, also email ypcsupport@yp.com with your name and the listing URL.
  6. Re-check the site after two weeks; Thryv's stated maximum is 45 days.
Superpages, Yellowpages.com and The Real Yellow Pages are all Thryv, and one privacy request to Thryv covers all of them. The people-search section of yellowpages.com is fed by Intelius, so a listing there also needs a PeopleConnect suppression (see the Addresses.com / Intelius guides). Thryv has up to 45 days by law to act; expect emails asking you to confirm. Nothing here removes you from the printed phone book — that comes from your phone company.
