Remove yourself from Spytox

Estimated time: 5–10 minutes. Difficulty: easy.

Steps

  1. Go to spytox.com and search your name (or phone or email). Confirm the search, answer the yes/no prompt and tick the "I'm not a robot" box.
  2. Find your record and click "See Report". Copy the URL of the report page from the address bar — the opt-out form needs it.
  3. Open the Spytox opt-out page (the "Do not sell my information" link at the bottom of the site).
  4. Paste the record URL, solve the CAPTCHA and click "Remove My Info". No email, phone or ID verification follows.
  5. Repeat for every record (old addresses, name variants) — one URL per request.
  6. Check back after about a week. No luck? Email hello@spytox.com with the record URLs.
Spytox and PeepLookup are run by the same operator with an identical "paste your record URL" form, but each site needs its own request. Both sites go offline for stretches (spytox.com was refusing connections when this guide was checked) — if the page will not load, try again later rather than assuming you are done. Guides report removal in 7–10 days; the site publishes no deadline.
