Remove yourself from Search Quarry
Estimated time: 10 minutes. Difficulty: easy.
Steps
- Open the Search Quarry "Remove My Data" page (it is the "Exercise My Privacy Rights" link in their footer). Complete the slide-to-verify check; the page then checks whether it has data on you.
- Enter your first name, last name, state and city and click Submit.
- In the list of reports, tick the box under "Select Record" next to the one that is you (check age and locations), then click the red "Remove Data" button.
- Enter an email address (comments are optional), solve the CAPTCHA and click Submit.
- Open the email from Search Quarry (check spam) and click the confirmation link. No phone number or ID needed.
- Search Quarry does not publish a timeline; you get a confirmation email once the request is processed. Allow a week, then search searchquarry.com again. Stuck? Call (800) 859-7375.
Search Quarry is a subscription site, but it still teases your name, age and cities for free. Its policy says it may keep some data "as required or permitted by law" even after you opt out. One request per listing — repeat for name variations — and re-check every few months.
