Remove yourself from RevealPhoneOwner
Estimated time: 3 minutes. Difficulty: easy.
Steps
- Go to revealphoneowner.com and look up your own number to confirm it is listed.
- Open the RevealPhoneOwner data removal form (the "Removal" link at the top of the site).
- Enter first and last name, the phone number to remove, an email address, and a short reason ("remove my number").
- Click Send. A notice confirms the request was received. No CAPTCHA code, phone call or ID is required, and there is no verification email to click.
- Repeat for any other numbers in your name.
- Search the number again after a few days to confirm.
RevealPhoneOwner is a reverse-phone site, so the thing you are removing is a phone number, not a profile. Each number you own needs its own form. Guides put removal anywhere from 24 hours to several days. The site pulls from other brokers, so the number can return after a refresh — re-check in a couple of months.
