Remove yourself from Pipl

Estimated time: 5 minutes, then a few days of email. Difficulty: easy.

Steps

  1. Open the Pipl personal information removal request form. Pipl sells identity data to businesses through an API, so there is no free search to look yourself up first — go straight to the form.
  2. Enter your full name and an email address you check. Phone number and address are optional, but adding the ones you want gone helps Pipl find the right record.
  3. Pick the type of request: "Deletion", "Disclosure" (they tell you what they hold) or "Disclosure + Deletion". If you're curious what they have, take the combined option.
  4. Write a short message ("Please delete all records about me" is enough), solve the maths CAPTCHA and submit.
  5. Watch your inbox for the next few days. Pipl says it may email you to verify the request before processing it — reply, or it stalls. No phone call or ID upload is asked for on the form.
  6. Pipl doesn't publish a removal deadline; third-party guides report up to 30 days. If you asked for disclosure, the report arrives by email.
Deleting from Pipl doesn't claw back data that customers already pulled through the API, and Pipl rebuilds profiles from new sources over time. Use a dedicated email for the request and repeat it if you find yourself back in a Pipl-powered lookup.
