Remove yourself from PeopleSearchNow
Estimated time: 10 minutes. Difficulty: easy.
Steps
- Open the PeopleSearchNow opt-out page.
- Choose "The subject of this request" (the "authorized agent" option is for someone acting for you). Enter your first and last name — middle name is optional — and an email you can open right now. Solve the CAPTCHA if one appears and submit.
- Check your inbox and spam folder. PeopleSearchNow emails a link to the real opt-out form. The site warns: wait more than 24 hours to click it and you must request a new one.
- Click the link and complete the form using details exactly as they appear on your listing. The site says omitting or fudging information "will only hinder the opt-out process". If you are shown search results, open your record and choose the remove option.
- You get a confirmation page and a confirmation email. No phone number or ID required.
- PeopleSearchNow asks for 3 days to process. Search peoplesearchnow.com for yourself after that to confirm.
PeopleSearchNow uses the same removal system as TruePeopleSearch and USA People Search, but each site needs its own request. One request covers one listing — repeat for old addresses or name variants. Expect data to creep back every few months.
