Remove yourself from PeopleConnect

Estimated time: 10 minutes. Difficulty: easy.

Steps

  1. Open the PeopleConnect opt-out page. This is the Suppression Center itself — the one place that handles removals for every PeopleConnect brand.
  2. Enter an email you can open right now, agree to the terms and click Continue.
  3. Open the verification email from PeopleConnect and click the link within 15 minutes — it expires.
  4. Enter your date of birth, tick the verification box and click Continue, then enter your full legal name. You may also be asked for a one-time code sent by email or SMS.
  5. Find your record, set "Desired Behavior" to "Suppressed" and click Save. No ID upload.
  6. Allow 48 hours (up to a few weeks for every site to catch up), then search www.intelius.com for yourself to confirm.
PeopleConnect is the parent of Intelius, TruthFinder, Instant Checkmate, US Search, ZabaSearch and PeopleFinder.com. One suppression covers all of them. It is a suppression, not a deletion — they can re-collect you from public records, so re-check a couple of times a year. Opt-outs submitted by third parties on your behalf are refused.
