Remove yourself from PeekYou

Steps

  1. Search peekyou.com for your first and last name, pick your state, and find your listing (skip the sponsored results at the top). Note the city and state on it and copy its URL.
  2. Open the PeekYou opt-out form — it is the "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link in their footer.
  3. Enter your first and last name, the city and state from your listing, a valid email, and the listing URL if asked. Other fields are optional.
  4. Complete the CAPTCHA, tick all the consent boxes and click Submit.
  5. Check your inbox for an email from optout@peekyou.com and click the verification link. If a staff member replies instead, you are done.
  6. Removal takes anywhere from 48 hours to about 10 days. Re-search to confirm.
PeekYou aggregates social profiles as well as public records, so the same name can have several listings — opt each one out. Keep the confirmation email and re-check in 3–6 months.
