Remove yourself from InfoTracer
Estimated time: 10 minutes. Difficulty: easy.
Steps
- Open the InfoTracer opt-out page. If you get "this page was requested too many times", wait a while or switch networks — InfoTracer rate-limits the page aggressively.
- Enter your first name, last name and state (city or ZIP if asked), tick the "not a robot" box and submit.
- Find your listing in the results, click "Select record", then "Remove data".
- Enter an email address, solve the CAPTCHA and submit.
- Open the confirmation email from InfoTracer (check spam) and click the verification link. No phone number or ID required.
- InfoTracer says removal can take up to 30 days; it is usually a few days. Search infotracer.com again to confirm. If the web form will not cooperate, call (844) 777-0503 and ask for deletion.
InfoTracer is owned by InfoPay, Inc., which also runs CourtCaseFinder, IDStrong and RecordsFinder — each has its own opt-out. InfoTracer is a paid-report site but still shows your name, age and locations for free, so it is worth doing. Re-check about once a year.
