Remove yourself from Information.com
Estimated time: 10 minutes. Difficulty: easy.
Steps
- Open the Information.com removal page (it is the "Do Not Sell Or Share My Personal Information" link in their footer).
- Enter your first name, last name, city and state, tick the "I am human" box and click Search.
- Find your record — check age, addresses and relatives — and click "Delete Record".
- Enter your first name, last name and an email address, solve the CAPTCHA and click Submit.
- Open the email from Information.com (check spam) and click the yellow "Confirm Request" button. The request is not processed until you do. No phone number or ID needed.
- Information.com says 5–7 days. Search information.com again after a week to confirm. Stuck? Email support@information.com or call 1-800-915-0696.
Information.com runs the same opt-out system as UnMask.com and CheckPeople, but each site needs its own request. It often holds several entries per person (old addresses, name variations) — search again after the first removal and repeat. Profiles get republished from refreshed public records, so re-check every few months.
