Remove yourself from FastPeopleSearch

Estimated time: 5–10 minutes. Difficulty: easy.

Steps

  1. Open the FastPeopleSearch opt-out page.
  2. Under "I am", pick "The subject of this request". Enter your first and last name and an email address, tick the authorization box, complete the CAPTCHA and click Submit.
  3. Watch your inbox (and spam). FastPeopleSearch emails you a link to the actual opt-out form. The link expires in 24 hours.
  4. Click the link and fill in the form so it matches the record you want gone. Their own note: leaving fields blank or fudging details "will only hinder the opt-out process".
  5. You get a confirmation page plus a confirmation email. No phone call, no ID upload.
  6. FastPeopleSearch says to allow 3 days. Then search fastpeoplesearch.com for yourself to confirm.
Same operator as TruePeopleSearch, USPhoneBook and SearchPeopleFree, but no shared opt-out — do each one. Records tend to reappear after a public-records refresh, so re-check every couple of months.
