Remove yourself from Acxiom

Estimated time: 5–10 minutes. Difficulty: easy.

Steps

  1. Open the Acxiom US consumer opt-out page and scroll to the "Consumer Opt Out Form".
  2. Tick all three categories: Mailing Addresses, Phone Numbers and Email Addresses.
  3. Enter your name and each current and previous address, phone number and email you want suppressed, clicking "+" to add each one. A valid email is mandatory.
  4. Submit, then open the confirmation email from Acxiom and click the validation link — the request is not live until you do.
  5. Acxiom processes the request "within two weeks after you respond to the confirmation email". No ID upload.
  6. No email? Call 1-877-774-2094 or write to Acxiom LLC, Consumer Care Advocate, P.O. Box 2000, Conway, AR 72033.
This is a marketing opt-out, not a deletion: it stops Acxiom selling your data to marketers going forward but "is not effective for removal of data that may have been provided to marketers prior to your request". You will not see a public listing disappear — there is none to check. Redo it if you move or change numbers.
