Remove yourself from Absolute People Search

Steps

  1. Grab your profile URL first. On absolutepeoplesearch.com click "Directory", pick your state, then the first letter of your last name, and open your listing. Copy the address bar — it should contain "person_profile.php?id=". Do not copy the URL of the "searching billions of records" loading page; it has no profile ID.
  2. Open the Absolute People Search Suppression Center (also reachable from the "Removal Request" / "Remove Information" link in the site footer).
  3. Fill in the required fields: first and last name, a contact phone number, a verification email, street address, city and state. The site says it wants the phone and address so it can find every file that matches you rather than a namesake. Paste your profile URL in the optional box.
  4. Tick "This information belongs to me or I am their authorized agent", solve the reCAPTCHA and click "Submit". Ignore the pitch for "Absolute Identity Protection" — you do not need it.
  5. Open the email from Absolute People Search and click "Complete Removal". You will land on a confirmation page.
  6. The site does not print a removal time; third-party guides report 7–10 business days, sometimes longer. Re-check the Directory page after two weeks.
The form asks for a phone number and address — give the ones that appear on your listing, not new ones. Names with common variants (Tom, Thomas, Tommy) can have several listings; submit one request per profile URL. Data gets re-imported over time, so plan to re-check every few months.
