Remove yourself from 411.com

Estimated time: 5–10 minutes. Difficulty: easy.

Steps

  1. Search 411.com for your name and city/state, then open your listing. Copy the full URL from the address bar. (A listing found on whitepages.com works too — it is the same database.)
  2. 411.com has no removal form of its own. Open the Whitepages suppression request page — a five-step wizard that starts with "Copy and paste the URL of your profile".
  3. Paste the listing URL, confirm the record shown is you, and choose "Remove me".
  4. Enter a phone number you can answer right now. Whitepages places an automated call and shows a code on screen; type that code into the phone when prompted. Miss the call and the request expires — start over.
  5. You get an on-screen confirmation. No email or ID is required.
  6. Allow 24–72 hours, then search 411.com again to confirm the listing is gone.
411.com is just Whitepages wearing a different hat: one suppression request removes the listing from both sites. Whitepages still re-publishes when it finds "new" data, so re-check every 30–90 days. If you have several listings (old addresses, nicknames), each one needs its own request.
